Silicone rubber is a durable & highly-resistant elastomer (rubber-like material). It is composed of silicone (polymer) containing silicon together with other molecules. These molecules include carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen. Silicone coatings provide durable, non-stick, protective finishes resistant to high temperatures, chemicals, and weathering. Use in place of conventional paints or powder coats, silicone coatings prevent sticking, corrosion, and abrasion on surfaces like molds, ovens, fabrics, ceramics, and composites. Some add friction or abrasion resistance, and others improve release or hydrophobicity. Room temperature and high-temperature cure systems are available.

Polyphenylene sulfide is a resin bonded polymer coating with outstanding resistance to chemical reactivity and thermal degradation. Combined with PTFE, PPS produces a hybrid coating that can be applied to substrate with low coefficient of friction and good wear resistance. PPS is a partially crystalline, high-temperature performance polymer that has a high melting point of approximately 2800C, strong chemical resistance and is inherently flame retardant.
Coating
PPSU is also often specified as a material for coating wires and electrical leads.
Chlorosulfonated polyethylene (CSPE) refers to a group of chemical substances that are chlorinated elastomers. They are formed via the reaction of polyethylene with chlorine and sulfur dioxide. They are often used as corrosion prevention coatings on metallic substrate surfaces.
Coating
Polyamide-imides are either thermosetting or thermoplastic, amorphous polymers that have exceptional mechanical, thermal, and chemical resistant properties. Polyamides-imides are used extensively as wire coatings in making magnet wire.
Coating
This Chlorine atom is more electronegative than methyl group and so increases the oil resistance of the material. Polychloroprene is known as Neoprene.
Coating
Polypropylene coatings belong to the group of polyolefins and is partially crystalline as well as non-polar. PP powder coating can be applied to a wide range of metal substrates, including steel, aluminum, and galvanized metal.
