Abcite is a single layer, primer-free, halogen-free, high strength adhesive thermoplastic powder coating. These coatings provide exceptional corrosion protection to steel and other metals in most severe conditions. Abcite offers excellent alkaline and acid chemical attack resistance. Abcite forms an impermeable barrier, even in cases of permanent immersion or condensation. Its performance is unchanged by UV exposure and weathering. Abcite is furthermore tough and flexible in high impact and abrasion resistance applications. Abcite allows for the coating of both interior and exterior in one step and requires no primer and forms a self-adhering monofilm. Abcite allows application in lower process temperature than nylon coatings and offers excellent edge and corner coverage. It is VOC and halogen free. Abcite complies with many food contact and potable water contact regulations.
